Blankensteinpark

So, I have a new camera and it took me out for a bike ride today. I ended up cycling about 14 km (after running 4km in the gym) and getting off the bike to look around or take a photo or sit in a new place about 73475 times. Here’s a view from the rather surreal Blankensteinpark in Berlin’s area Prenzlauer Berg, in its western tail near Friedrichschain and Lichtenberg (its south-ish and north-ish cousins). The last two photos have the same people chilling out on the grass, but even so, I couldn’t decide between the asymmetric and the symmetric viewpoints, so here are both. Super, no :)?IMG_4499-bc-crop.1024IMG_4501.1024x768

And some other weird and wonderful things I found:

Bike rests for little bikes

Meltdown (I didn’t even have to edit out the number plate on this one…)

Prenzlauer Berg: the neighbourhood with the highest birth-rate in the whole of Europe.
